Join us for a practical and supportive Insight Day at BCoT, one of three recently appointed national Digital Insight Hubs.
The team at Basingstoke College of Technology will share the foundational steps that helped them build a strong digital culture, develop staff confidence, and improve teaching and learning through simple, achievable approaches.
The relaxed, informal event will explore:
- everyday digital practices
- authentic assessment methods
- behaviour and wellbeing strategies
- low‑cost tools that reduce workload and enhance the learner experience
- lots of sharing
- an opportunity to use some edtech
Attendees will gain realistic, transferable ideas - along with honest reflections on challenges and lessons learned - to help them begin or strengthen their own digital transformation journey.
This event is now fully booked.
Additional date have been announced as:

Introducing Digital Insight Hubs
As part of the ongoing strategic partnership between the Association of Colleges and Ufi VocTech Trust, the new Digital Impact Hubs were announced in response to Digital baseline: exploring the use of technology in FE which found that inequality and challenges persist around digital confidence, training and CPD, equitable access, and consistent infrastructure.
Tasked with fostering collaboration and sharing knowledge across FE institutions, the Digital Insights Hub will help address disparities in access to technology, staff digital skills, and learner experiences, ultimately improving educational outcomes and VocTech adoption across the FE sector.
The first three Digital Impact Hubs are the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group, South Staffordshire College and Basingstoke College of Technology.
Find out more about the Digital Insight Hubs on the AoC website.
