A free programme of online events to explore the role of digital technology in vocational training and to celebrate its impact on learners, employers, training providers and society as a whole.

After the success of the first ever ‘Week of VocTech’ in 2020 we are thrilled to announce the UK’s only dedicated event focused on the role of digital technology in vocational education, taking place online Monday 15 – Friday 19 November.

This highly interactive week will unite trainers, learning providers, developers, investors, funders and policy makers over five days of networking, interactive sessions and celebration of ‘what works’ in financing, developing and deploying VocTech.

The Week of VocTech 2021 will be the perfect opportunity for you to be inspired by how digital solutions are transforming the lives of adult learners across the UK, to share experiences, ideas and network with others who have a passion for vocational learning.

Currently we are planning all events “virtual-first” however we continue to monitor COVID-19 guidelines and may look to introduce in-person elements where possible.

The majority of events will take place on Hopin. Hopin provides great scope for engagement and interaction between attendees and will allow you to build up a contact book of people you meet across the week.

There is no charge to take part in any events as part of the Week of VocTech 2021, though some events are by invitation only.

Yes. For the majority of events you will need to register to attend. Details of how to register are included on the individual event pages as part of the programme.

As soon as you register for an event on Hopin you will receive an email confirmation. If you don’t receive the email please:

  1. Check your spam folder. The  confirmation email will come from no-reply@hopin.com
  2. Check that you created or signed-in to your Hopin account when you registered for the event.

The final step when registering for an event on Hopin is to link the registration to a Hopin account. If you already have a Hopin account you should sign-in to link the registration to your account. If you don’t have a Hopin account then you will need to set one up. The following video shows the process but if you continue to have issues with registration please contact us.
